The Scratchpad Reading Series is, as advertised, a quarterly fiction/nonfiction reading series in Portland, Maine. It began in the spring of 2010. In the summer of 2011 it became a project of Hillytown Presents.
Scratchpad features unpublished fiction and nonfiction by new and established writers. We’re interested in that essay you’re revising, the short story that’s undergoing its fourth final draft, the novel in your drawer, the book that isn’t on store shelves (yet).
